Job Position: Female School Receptionist

Job Summary
- We are seeking a Female School Receptionist who is organised, proactive, detail-oriented and capable of supporting a busy school office.
- The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, while providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
- This role requires someone who is professional, dependable and able to manage responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reception and Front Desk:
- Welcome pupils, parents, staff and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage the school reception area and ensure visitors follow sign-in procedures.
- Respond to admission enquiries and vendors appropriately.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general office support including photocopying, printing and laminating.
- Maintain clear and accurate handwritten and digital records where required.
- Assist with meeting notes and basic documentation.
Attendance and Records:
- Support daily pupil attendance monitoring and maintain accurate records.
- Record late arrivals and early departures and update school databases where required.
Communication and Organisation:
- Maintain the reception notice boards and ensure information is clear and up to date.
- Support the tracking of school events, birthdays and important dates.
- Assist with creating simple weekly content highlighting school activities for social media.
Parent and Pupil Support:
- Respond professionally to basic parent enquiries regarding school procedures and schedules.
- Provide simple assistance to pupils with minor concerns such as lost items.
Ideal Candidate
- Education:A degree in Administration, Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a school environment.
- Applicants must reside in Ibadan and be able to commute easily to Jericho.
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Clear and legible handwriting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems
- Professional, polite and confident in dealing with parents and visitors
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Proactive and able to support senior administrative staff effectively.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
